JOB DESCRIPTION:

DASH Home + Kitchen is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Associate to support our back-of-the-house operations. This position will assist with the organization and accuracy of inventory.  The Warehouse Associate will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, while ensuring timely and accurate processing of online shipments.  This person would be responsible for packing and shipping online orders as they are processed through point of sale. During seasonal changeovers, you will be scheduled to pack and relocate products to the off-site storage premises. This person will also assist in the seasonal in-store displays and assembly. 

Responsibilities

• Break down, separate and take incoming packaging to the appropriate public dumpsters.
• Fulfill customer’s online orders, process, package, and ship accurately and in a timely manner.
• Update ownership of any package materials needed to complete shipments. 
• Abide by all company safety regulations.  Keep paths of egress cleared.
• Keep the storeroom clean and organized. 
• Move seasonal items to off premise storage unit in person vehicle. 
• Assist owner(s) with assembly and/or moving of visual displays or heavier items on the showroom floor. 
• Organize storage of props and seasonal display items.
• Conduct weekly cycle counting procedures to ensure inventory is accounted and accurate.
• Verify and update product weights in our point of sale.   

Job Requirements

• High School or GED equivalent
• An effective communicator with strong organization skills is a must
• Be responsible and capable of making sound decisions when working individually.  Can work as a team.
• Uphold the integrity mission and values of the company
• Have a positive outlook and respect toward on your work, the company, the relationship with manager, and customers.
• 1-2 years’ experience in warehouse role
• Must have a valid NC State license and dependable vehicle that can hold multiple large boxes.  Preferably a SUV, van, or enclosed truck. 
• General knowledge of computer operations and ability to interface with point of sale. 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to be active, standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching and lifting throughout the workday
• Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift medium sizes boxes and item with weights up to 45 lbs.
• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle. 

Time Requirements

• Part-Time Flex associates must be available for scheduling Tuesdays – Sundays during the hours 10:00am - 7:00 pm with the concentration of days/hours Wednesday and Friday after 4:30. Non-seasonal work will typically be scheduled during weekday evenings.
• Average work is 6-10 hours per week.  Please note that special event weekends and the holiday season may entail being available beyond 10 hours per week. 

Compensation

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic location. The anticipated pay range for this role will be between $12.00-15.00 per hour.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will provide daily support to the Owner(s) by performing opening and closing procedures and providing retail supervision to ensure the store is meeting its financial goals. As a Sales/Design Associate you will provide customers with a unique shopping experience by offering excellent customer service and being insightful in the specialty home and gourmet retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform operational functions: opening and closing procedures, register functions and back-office procedures. Understand and navigate our POS system.
• Ensure store meets visual, replenishment, cleanliness, safety and back of house standards.
• Perform duties on the weekly cleaning schedule.
• Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service by exemplifying service standards.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
• Assist customers with special services including gift wrap, gift registry, locating merchandise, and taking online orders
• Load wine system, provide routine cleanings/maintenance. Assist customers with self-pour.
• Help vendors coordinate and set-up for in-store workshops.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of visual merchandise presentation, signage and lighting.
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise, as deliveries are received.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Owner(s).
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Cycle counting for inventory

Job Requirements

• High School or GED equivalent. 
• At least 18 years of age and willing/capable to sell wine.
• Effective communicator with strong organizational skills.
• Be responsible and capable of making sound decisions when working individually.  Be a team player.

• Be knowledgeable in product categories to assist customers with questions and purchases while being attentive, curtesy, and engaging.
• Must have a love for food, home, and entertainment. 
• 1-2 years retail sales experience
• 1-2 years’ experience in home-related design and visual merchandising; preferred but not required.
• Must love dogs!

Physical Requirements

Time Requirements

• Part-Time/Flex Associates must be available for scheduling Tuesday – Sunday during the hours 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Many hours will be concentrated from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday to Friday.  Able to work 5 hours on Saturdays with the flexibility of the morning or evening shift.  Be able to work two Sundays a month from 10-2.
• Average work week is 15-20 hours per week.  Please note that special event weekends and the holiday season may entail being available beyond this.
• Associate must be available for inventory.
